10 Tricks to Help With Weight Loss

Here are some tricks that I have found wonderful and helped me with my weight loss. They will help not only with motivation but also will help you keep your strategy in mind while living your normal life. The last thing that is helpful is becoming obsessed with losing weight.


1: Weigh everything! Get some scales and weigh all your foods, this way you know you are not deluding yourself about how much food your are eating. Portion size is important, so use smaller plates for your food as well.


2: Build treats into your weight loss strategy, a couple of squares of chocolate per day can make all the different. You never want to feel deprived so including some treats really helps you feel you are not on a diet.


3: Give yourself non food rewards whenever you lose 3 lbs. These will add up over time and you will get to really look forward to then and this will keep you motivated for longer.


4: Use olive oil spray in your cooking. A little spray can go a long way. It helps your food not to stick, but doesnt add in a lot of calories.


5: Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.


6: Try to eat smaller more frequent meals and snacks as this will keep your metabolism fast.


7: Use a pedometer and try to get to 10000 steps per day.


8: Have small short term goals as success breeds success.


9: Lose weight with a supportive friend.


10 Never give up, a little weight loss is much better than none, just keep at it!
